This medium-flavoured masterpiece showcases an all-Nicaraguan blend, predominantly sourced from A.J. Fernandez' Dorado farm. Aptly named for its golden texture and taste, this cigar delivers an excellent medium-bodied smoke with delightful notes of cedar, white pepper, and cinnamon.
Unveiling the Dorado Farm:
At the heart of the New World Dorado blend lies the Fernandez Dorado farm in Esteli. The soil of this farm exhibits a remarkable golden hue, a rarity in Esteli, where most earth tends to be an ashen shade of dark grey. Inspired by this golden appearance, the cigar bears the name "Dorado," meaning "golden" in Spanish. Established only five years ago, the Dorado farm contributed tobacco from its first harvest in 2017 to create the New World Dorado brand.
Crafted with Excellence:
The all-Nicaraguan blend of the New World Dorado Robusto features a Sun Grown Habano wrapper and Criollo 98 binder, both meticulously sourced from the Dorado farm. While some filler tobacco comes from two other tobacco fields - one in Condega and another farm in Esteli - the rest of the filler blend incorporates leaves from the Dorado plantation. Each cigar is skillfully made at the AJ Fernandez San Lotano factory, boasting a box-pressed shape.
