Whether you’re a seasoned aficionado or simply curious about the art of slow smoking, this is your chance to be part of the pre-qualifier to the world’s most prestigious slow-smoking cigar competition.
What is the CSWC?
The Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) is the largest global cigar competition of its kind. With over 50 participating countries, competitors aim to earn a place in the world final in Croatia, celebrating patience, precision, and community spirit.
The UK Slow Smoking World Championship 2025 will be held at Boisdale of Canary Wharf on Sunday, 29 June 2025. By attending our pre-qualifier in Guildford, you’ll gain first-hand experience before the big day.
The Competition Cigar:
🔥 The Official 2025 CSWC Cigar is an Oliva (Mareva Vitola)
Length: 5 1/8" Ring Gauge: 42
Created especially for the 2025 championship, this cigar takes inspiration from the Oliva Melanio and Serie V lines. Wrapped in branded CSWC paper and presented in beautifully designed boxes, the competition cigar is as exclusive as the event itself.
The Rules – A Game of Patience:
✔️ One cigar per participant
✔️ One minute for prep – cut and light with two long matches
✔️ No talking, no drinking for the first 5 minutes
✔️ No relighting allowed—once it’s out, you’re out
✔️ No ash dropping for 40 minutes
✔️ Burn to the ring – and not beyond
✔️ The last cigar still burning wins!
